11-13/14 February Watermill Cottages Working Holiday Weekend Spend the weekend surrounded by nature in our rural valley helping us to create sustainably-sourced fuel for our cottages' stoves and planting wild flower banks. Reconnect with nature. Meals provided in our farmhouse kitchen. Private rooms in shared cottages. Following our successful coppicing course last year, this year we are focusing on regenerating our old willow trees to encourage new growth for weaving. Basic willow weaving will be taught too. A lunch of hot soup and bread cooked over the fire will be provided and of course tea and cake. £15 for the day. There will be just 3 students on the weekend. We will work on aspects of folk performance such as projection, time and rythm, use of sapce and dynamics, making the accompaniment more interesting, basic harmony. £220.00 meals included.
