Quack Cottage (Sleeps 3) is set in its own, large sunny south-facing fenced garden on the bank of the river, across the bridge from Higher North Mill. This idyllic Devon stone cottage has a spacious open-plan living/dining room, traditional in style with exposed beams and a wood burning stove. Delightful antique furniture adds to the charm of this “chocolate box” cottage, festooned with roses and honeysuckle. The modern fitted kitchen is a more recent extension. The bedrooms and bathroom (with toilet) are upstairs. There is one double and one single bedroom. The open stair banister in Quack makes it unsuitable for mobile children under five.
